Teachers hit CD launches and recording studios

IAA prides itself on the fact that all of our teachers on the IAA team are current performers and ‘gigging’ nationally and internationally. Recently, IAA Founding Director Thanh Bui (Singer/Songwriter) released his debut album in Vietnam (sung all in Vietnamese) to much acclaim. He has released his first single and Music Video clip and is about to embark on his first tour in Vietnam.

Luke Robinson (Sydney Guitar teacher) has had recent songs from his catalogue picked up by StarTune Records in Nashville, USA as the title track of a compilations CD. He has also recently hit the recording studios here in NSW with release of the record 31st March 2012. Stay tuned for the finer details.

Van-Anh Nguyen (IAA Artistic Director and Piano teacher) hits Benchmark Recording Studios this December to record a duo CD with one of Australia’s most talented jazz pianist and accordionist, Marcello Maio. This record will be released in March 2012. Her highly-anticipated crossover project will be recorded at Alberts Studios (AC/DC’s recording Studio) in February 2011 and expect to see her first Music Video Clip out around March 2012.

In other news, Kathy Hinch (Melbourne singing teacher) and her band Keshie has had recent airplay of their original songs on Triple J.
